Shawn Hammerbeck, the highest-ranked prospect in South Dakota, is a Cornhusker. The 6’6” IOL recruit chose Nebraska over Kansas State, Minnesota, Kansas, and North Dakota State, to name a few of his offers. Hammerbeck was a dominant three-sport athlete at Winner High School. Besides being an All-American Lineman, he earned all-state basketball honors and was a Class A Gold medalist in discus. Hammerbeck has the frame and athleticism to help rebuild The Pipeline.
