Leon Noil Jr Commits to Nebraska

Earlier today, 3-Star offensive linemen Leon Noil Jr committed to Nebraska. Noil was initially set to announce his commitment on July 7th, but I guess he just couldn’t wait that long to embrace Husker Nation. Leon Noil Jr. has a composite grade of 0.8793, a 3-star rating, and comes in as the No. 45-ranked OT in his class. For a while, many thought Nebraska was out of the picture for Noil, so when the crystal ball predictions started to come in for Nebraska, it got a lot of people’s attention. Noil’s top three came down to Mississippi State, Baylor, and, of course, Nebraska.

The measurements for Leon Noil Jr vary a lot depending on what website you look at, but a safe bet would be to have him at around 6’6” and 260 pounds for now. He has the frame to play in the Big Ten, but will ultimately need time to add some more mass. Matt Rhule has emphasized the measurements of recruits, a factor that stands out when you look at who else Nebraska is bringing in the 2026 class, and even this last transfer portal class. For now, Noil looks to be a long-term project, but is an excellent example of the age-old fact that you can’t teach size.
