Nebraska has just landed its highest-rated prospect in the entire history of its football program. The 6’6”, 275-pound edge rusher, Williams Nwaneri, committed to Missouri last year as the No. 7 overall recruit in the 2024 class. At the time, he was a 5-star+ player and held a rating of 99. For reference, former Nebraska star edge rusher Randy Gregory had a rating of 81 coming out of his recruiting class, so it’s safe to say Nwaneri has an incredibly high ceiling. During the 2024 recruiting cycle, just about every major school in the country made offers to Nwaneri. Missouri…
MJ Flaum: From Guard to Gavel MJ Flaum grew up in the small town of Westminster, Colorado. During his freshman year at Northglenn High School, Flaum started playing football and immediately took to it. Before long, he was starting as an offensive tackle. In his sophomore and junior years, schools around the country began to make offers to Flaum, but he chose to stay home and committed to Colorado. However, Colorado football coach Rick Neuheisel would accept the head coaching…

On December 11, Nebraska will host LB Phoenix Jackson from Fresno State. Over the last four seasons at Fresno State, Jackson recorded 101 tackles, five sacks, and three interceptions. In 2024, Jackson would not earn a starting job but would see a lot of playing time coming off the bench. The one stat that stands out is his pass coverage grade of 90.3, which makes sense because Jackson did not allow a single touchdown in coverage this fall. Jackson also has other visits scheduled, including one to Auburn, but he plans to make additional stops at schools in the ACC,…
Terrance Knighton is officially leaving Nebraska and following DC Tony White to Florida State. Many fans never thought Knighton would leave due to the relationships he built with players, like the relationship he built with James Williams, who gave this emotional response after the Rutgers game when asked what Coach Knighton means to him. “ There were so many times last year that everybody else around here could have gotten rid of me,” Williams said. “I was a mess-up. I was late to stuff. And he vouched for me, he put me out there. He was the reason I played…
