The announcement of defensive coordinator Tony White and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton leaving for Florida State has led to transfer portal entries. The Blackshirts took a major hit and continued as defensive linemen Jimari Butler, Vincent Jackson and linebackers Stefon Thompson, Mikai Gbayor all entered the portal.
The Blackshirts got confirmation from its two highest-rated defensive recruits that they are still ‘N,’ Dawson Merritt and Christian Jones.
