Deja vu all over again! Huskers lose to Iowa in a walk-off gut punch.

Huskers dominate every phase of the game and still find a way to lose.

The SMQ crew needed a day to process this one. Ridiculous turnovers, combined with a momentary lapse in tackling and poor special teams play combined in a trifecta that yielded calls of "you can't make this up."

Oh yes, you can! Nebraska can. And somehow you just knew it would happen. And the not shaking hands thing is a whole nother matter. Dr. Zatecha tweeted: "This isn't my program." SMQ couldn't agree more.

But there is a bowl game and a strong recruiting class which in springtime will yield a whole new corn crop of hope.

Expect Holgerson Highlights to continue vs. Iowa!

There will be no Thanksgiving indigestion on Friday. Only multiple trips to the Red Zone for second, third, and fourth servings of touchdowns!

Tony White will put 8 in the box to stop the 13th-ranked running attack. Kirk Ferentz will think his son is running the offense again.

Oh, what a season this could have been! But better late than never. Troy Dannan should back up the truck to keep Mr. Holgorsen around.
Two more wins and a top-15 recruiting class could keep the ship sailing in the right direction. Adam Carriker and Charlie McBride called out that the team would “ascend” in the final two games, and the team delivered. Students and fans alike poured onto the field.

“This is the last time we’ll celebrate like this for six wins,” said Matt Rhule. Amen. The demons are officially exorcised.
