The 2025 United Football League season officially began on Friday, with the St. Louis Battlehawks facing off against the Houston Roughnecks. This will be the second season for the UFL, which was formed after the XFL and USFL merged in 2023. So far, a few former Cornhuskers have made a mark in the UFL, like Adrian Martinez, who led the Birmingham Stallions to be the first-ever UFL Champion.
