Elkhorn North star linebacker Jase Reynolds is officially staying home as the 3-star prospect signs as the lone in-state recruit in the 2026 class. The 6’2” and 200-pound lurker was not heavily recruited but brings the mentality, leadership, and effort to be the future backbone of the Blackshirt defense. Watching his film, you will see that he can play outside or inside linebacker, and has the speed to play in coverage or to help stuff the run. The homegrown prospect will need time to develop and to cultivate mass, but I believe he can become a more athletic John Bullock.
Reynolds will be 1 of 2 players who will not enroll early and participate in bowl practices, as he wants to finish out the basketball season, as Elkhorn North hopes to make a run towards a state title.
