Nebraska has managed to pry away 4-star wide receiver Nalin Scott from Arizona State. Scott initially committed to the Sundevils back on April 28. ASU has a strict no-visit policy once you commit, so the fact that Scott decided to visit Lincoln on June 20th was a major sign that he wasn’t planning on staying in Arizona.
Nalin Scott comes in at 6’3” and 200 pounds, and ran 11.50 in the 100 and 23.76 in the 200 as a freshman. Scott has the size and speed to be a true threat as a wideout in the Big Ten, something Nebraska has struggled with for years. Nalin Scott possesses the size and talent to develop into something special. Fortunately, Nebraska has an offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach who will mold him into a player capable of playing on Sundays. There are a lot of bright lights in the receiver’s room right now, but Scott has the potential to shine among the brightest in a year or two.
