Originally, Nebraska and Cincinnati we’re supposed to meet at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana for their week 1 matchup.
The game was moved to Arrowhead Stadium, home of the four time Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs, a hot spot for a lot of Husker fans.
We now know the setting for this week 1 matchup, a Primetime 8:00 CT kick that will be broadcasted on ESPN.
Nebraska hasn’t played on any of the ESPN/ABC networks for a regular season game since their narrow 15-14 loss to Wisconsin on a frigid Senior Day in 2022.
Given the location and popularity around the Kansas City Chiefs and their players, there is a good chance that we will see an ESPN College Gameday show to go along with ESPNs best team of broadcasters.
Husker fans shouldn’t have to wait much longer for more kickoff times and networks to be announced, as usually around 5-6 games are announced by the end of May.
