After 25 years, John Cook has retired as head coach of Nebraska Volleyball. In those 25 years, Cook won 4 National Championships, 8 NCAA Finals, 14 Conference Titles, 11 Coach of the Year awards, and the list goes on. While there may never be another John Cook, the program will be placed in safe hands. Shortly after the news broke about Coach Cook, the university announced Dani Busboom Kelly as the new head coach. Kelly played and was an assistant coach under Cook and brings an impressive resume, including a finals appearance last year. Cook finishes his time at Nebraska with a career record of 883-176, the 5th-best winning percentage all-time for a D1 volleyball coach.
