Nebraska will have multiple confirmed official visitors set for the first three weeks of June. Of the 22 players listed below, 15 are offensive targets. Nebraska continues to concentrate on the trenches, with 6 of them being offensive linemen. Of the 7 defensive targets, 5 play in the secondary. That leaves 1 defensive lineman and 1 linebacker.
So, it appears there is still work to do for this Husker staff and that’s what defensive line coach Terry Bradden has been doing. Bradden took a visit to Sweden this week to meet with Valdin Sone and his family. Sone is a 6’3” 320 defensive lineman who has a four-star ranking. While Sone has visited Nebraska twice, there is hope of getting him to make an official visit in June.
Players making official visits in June are listed below. Nebraska continues to hit Florida hard with 5 players from the Sunshine State.

Since 2027 quarterback Trae Taylor committed to Nebraska, he has been heavily involved in peer recruiting. Below is a list of 2027 players either Nebraska is interested in, or Taylor has been in contact with. Since Taylor attended several 7-7 events in Texas, it’s no coincidence 6 of the 12 players listed are from the Lone Star State.

One of the things to look for and shouldn’t alarm Husker fans is the low number of commits for 2026. I would be surprised if Nebraska signed more than 12 players in the 26 cycle. And look for that trend to continue into 2027. The new college football landscape with NIL and the transfer portal isn’t going to allow those 25 to 30 recruiting classes any longer. It’s going to be quality over quantity moving forward.
