On December 11, Nebraska will host LB Phoenix Jackson from Fresno State. Over the last four seasons at Fresno State, Jackson recorded 101 tackles, five sacks, and three interceptions. In 2024, Jackson would not earn a starting job but would see a lot of playing time coming off the bench. The one stat that stands out is his pass coverage grade of 90.3, which makes sense because Jackson did not allow a single touchdown in coverage this fall. Jackson also has other visits scheduled, including one to Auburn, but he plans to make additional stops at schools in the ACC, Big 12, and SEC.
