The presents keep coming for the Blackshirts, as Andrew Marshall from Idaho has transferred to Nebraska, he announced Christmas morning. The 6’1”, 186-pound cornerback comes with a lot of production in his last two seasons with the Vandals. Over the last two years, Marshall recorded 72 tackles, one forced fumble, and 8 pass breakups. Marshall played roughly 800 snaps and recorded a grade of 75.8 per PFF.
While a threat on defense, Andrew Marshall is a legitimate threat in the return game. Over the last two seasons, he recorded 14 punts for 150 yards and 1 touchdown and 9 kickoffs for 373 yards and 1 touchdown. Marshall was the only CB to make the first-team all-conference in the Big Sky Conference. While most of his stats came against FCS opponents, when the Vandals visited the Oregon Ducks earlier this year, Marshall held his own against one of the best offenses in the country. Andrew Marshall has two years of eligibility remaining.
