In front of a record-breaking attendance of 17,675, Nebraska survives a back-and-forth fight with in-state rival Creighton. The Bluejays and Cornhuskers traded sets all night with nobody really taking control of the game until the 5th set, when Nebraska finally pulled through and played like the number one team in the country.
Three Huskers really stood out tonight: Andi Jackson, Virginia Adriano, and Taylor Landfair. All three recorded at least 12 kills and each seemed to take over in a set. In set 3, Virginia Adriano was playing lights out and it looked as if Nebraska had grabbed all the momentum, but credit to Creighton for fighting back and sticking around until the final set. Nebraska now moves to 24-0 all-time against Creighton and remains perfect with a record of 9-0.
