Nebraska released their depth chart on Monday for the Houston Christian game. There were a few changes from last week with the ‘OR’s’ disappearing at three different positions. Most notably at left tackle. In the Cincinnati game three players rotated during the game, Gottula, Corcoran, and Pritchett. But with the latest depth chart Gunner Gottula now holds the number one spot going into the HCU game. At right tackle the ‘OR’ has been dropped behind Teddy Prochazka’s name, making him the starter. Kicker Kyle Cunanan is now a clear number one as well. Additional names were added at several spots, expanding the depth chart from two to as many as four at some positions.
Players whose names were added this week include Jake Peters at Center, Jalyn Gramstad at QB, Kwinten Ives at RB, Dylan Rogers at Jack, Gabe Moore at Nose, Derek Branch at Rover, and Amare Sanders at CB.
Matt Rhule also announced cornerback Donavan Jones was awarded a Blackshirt, which brings the total to eleven.

In all, 108 players saw action against Akron. It is expected that many or more will once again get on the field against Houston Christian. Last week all eleven starters on offense saw 30 plus snaps for the game. The defense saw more players get on the field, positions that saw 20 plus snaps were four different defensive linemen, five different linebackers, and eight defensive backs.
