One of the most underrated running backs in the nation has committed to Nebraska. Jamal Rule, the 3-star running back, chose the Cornhuskers over Michigan State, Wisconsin, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech. The Charlotte, North Carolina, prospect was among Nebraska’s top running back targets for the 2026 class.
Rule measured in at 6’0” and 205 pounds as a junior in high school and had 134 rushing attempts for 1236 yards, 9.2 yards per carry, and 15 touchdowns. For his performance, he was named to the 2024 North Carolina All-State Team. Currently, Jamal Rule appears to be a hidden gem in the 2026 class, but it would not surprise me to see him rise to a 4-star ranking and attract the attention of even more schools across the country, especially if he can repeat his performance from last year.
