Earlier today, the No. 1-ranked recruit in the class of 2027, Kendall Omoruyi, committed to the Cornhuskers. The 6’4” middle blocker from Arizona will be reconnecting with Teraya Sigler and Kenna Cogill from her club volleyball team, the Arizona Storm.
As a sophomore, Omoruyi recorded 281 kills, 82 blocks, averaging 2.7 kills and 0.8 blocks per set. She finished the year with a hitting percentage of .342. Omoruyi is the second commit of the 2027 class and will surely help Nebraska secure one of the top recruiting classes in the country. The future continues to look bright in Lincoln under new head coach, Dani Busboom Kelly.
