Earlier this week, the #1 overall in-state recruit, Jett Thomalla, posted his final five schools in the running for his commitment: Iowa State, Missouri, Duke, Virginia Tech, and Arizona. As things stand right now, Iowa State is a heavy favorite, especially with many of his fellow Millard South teammates already committed to the Cyclones and the fact his only official visit is with Iowa State on June 6th. With Nebraska not making Jett’s final five, this will be the first time in the Matt Rhule era that Nebraska has not landed the state’s #1 prospect.
