No. 1 Nebraska extended its flawless 2025 campaign to 21–0 (11–0 Big Ten) with a decisive 25–22, 25–19, 25–13 sweep over No. 11 Wisconsin on Friday night at the Wisconsin Field House. The 7,229 in attendance watched the Huskers dominate from the opening serve, dropping the Badgers to 15–4 (8–3 Big Ten) and reinforcing Nebraska’s stranglehold atop the conference.
Harper Murray powered the offense with 15 kills, eight digs, and four blocks, while Andi Jackson delivered 12 kills at a scorching .600 efficiency and three blocks. Rebekah Allick anchored the net with seven kills (.538) and a match-high six blocks. Taylor Landfair (six kills, .500) and Virginia Adriano (five kills) provided depth, as setter Bergen Reilly dished 38 assists, added eight digs, four blocks, and three kills of her own. The Huskers hit .349 as a unit, outblocked Wisconsin 9–3, and outdug the hosts 54–40, with Teraya Sigler posting a career-best 14 digs.
The match showcased Nebraska’s composure under pressure. In set one, a triple block by Jackson, Murray, and Reilly halted a late Badger push to secure a 25–22 edge. Set two saw a 5–1 run fueled by Landfair and Jackson, pulling away for a 25–19 win. The third frame was a clinic: Murray’s serving sparked a 6–0 burst, including kills from Jackson and Landfair, culminating in a 25–13 rout—Wisconsin’s lowest set total this season.
This victory marks Nebraska’s 12th straight sweep, 37th consecutive set won, and a perfect 5–0 record in the inaugural Big Ten Discover Challenge (15–0 set differential). The Huskers have swept Wisconsin in four straight meetings—the first such streak in the 39-match series—and claimed four consecutive wins over the Badgers for the first time since 2012–13. Having won all 27 sets in October and allowing opponents to reach 20 points just three times, Nebraska returns to Lincoln Sunday to continue its pursuit of history.
