No. 2 Nebraska has been selected as the No. 4 overall seed for the 2026 NCAA Tournament and will host a regional at Bowlin Stadium, the University announced on May 10. The Huskers will welcome the Lincoln Regional to their home field, with the opportunity to host a super regional as well, should they advance. Nebraska opens tournament play against South Dakota, the Summit League champion, on Friday, May 15, at 5:30 p.m. CT. The game will stream live on ESPN+. Earlier that day, Louisville and Grand Canyon will square off at 3 p.m. CT.
This marks Nebraska’s 28th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and the 24th under head coach Rhonda Revelle. The Huskers rank 14th all-time in NCAA Tournament appearances, 20th in tournament wins with 69 victories, and 15th in Women’s College World Series appearances with seven. Revelle’s 24 appearances at Nebraska place her fifth among active coaches at their current school.
Bowlin Stadium last hosted an NCAA regional in 2013, making this the fifth time in the venue’s history that the Huskers will welcome postseason play to Lincoln. Tickets for the 2026 Lincoln Regional go on sale to the public today (May 11) at 3 p.m. CT, following a priority on-sale period for Nebraska Athletics donors. Fans can purchase tickets online via the official Huskers ticketing site.
