D’Andre Barnes Enters Transfer Portal

Early Tuesday, it was revealed that reserve defensive back, D’Andre Barnes had entered the transfer portal. This news is unsurprising considering the enormous amount of talent in that room and the roster cut-down date soon approaching. Barnes was a late addition in the 2023 recruiting class out of Aurora, Colorado. Barnes turned down offers from Air Force, BYU, and Wyoming to commit to Nebraska. While Barnes has been on the team for two years, he has only appeared in one game against UTEP. Barnes will have three years of eligibility remaining.
