The top-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers women’s volleyball team closed out their non-conference schedule in dominant fashion Saturday night, sweeping the Arizona Wildcats 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-18). The victory improved Nebraska to 10-0 on the season.
Nebraska’s offense fired on all cylinders, hitting an impressive .392 as a team. The Huskers showcased their depth with balanced scoring from every front-row attacker: Harper Murray led the way with 14 kills. At the same time, Bergen Reilly added 5, and Andi Jackson and Virginia Adriano both added 9 kills each.
With non-conference play in the rearview, Nebraska turns its attention to Big Ten action, hosting Michigan on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT. The Huskers enter conference play as heavy favorites, riding a wave of momentum and eyeing another deep NCAA Tournament run.
