Kentucky (August 27)
The season kicks off with a bang against Kentucky at the AVCA First Serve Showcase in Louisville, and promises to be a high stakes affair. Creighton (September 10)
A local rivalry that never disappoints, the matchup against the crew from Omaha, Creighton is always a highlight. Despite consistently finishing in the top 25 nationally, Creighton cant help but to feel overshadowed by the team with all the trophies down the road. This little sister vs big sister matchup is always one of the most exciting matchups of the season. Expect a packed house and an electric atmosphere as these two teams serve up one heck of a game that will lead to year long bragging rights.
Stanford (September 18)
Stanford, a team that consistently ranks among the nation’s best, finished last year in the top 5. The Huskers will host the Cardinal in what promises to be a marquee matchup. This game will test Nebraska’s ability to overcome adversity and provide a glimpse into their true potential for a deep postseason run.
Louisville (September 22)
Were still not out of september yet with more than likely the huskers fourth top 10 matchup facing Louisville on the road. The Cardinals, who finished 2023 ranked #4, are known for their strong and consistent defense and strategic play. After a strong 2023, Louisville is not a team that can be overlooked.
Wisconsin (November 1 & November 23)
The rivalry with Wisconsin is one of the most anticipated matchups each season. The Badgers had another great season in 2023 and have been a thorn in Nebraska’s side in recent years.
