Justyn Lindsay: Size, Speed, and Production at Wide Receiver
Justyn Lindsay, a 6-3, 175-pound wide receiver from Lee’s Summit North High School in Missouri (with prior time at Blue Springs), committed to Nebraska on June 13, 2026, during an official visit. The three-star prospect brings intriguing length and vertical speed to the position.
As a junior, Lindsay recorded 22 receptions for 352 yards and seven touchdowns. He had previously camped at Nebraska, earning an initial offer, and reconnected with the staff last weekend before committing.
Lindsay chose the Huskers over offers from programs including Iowa, Kent State, Missouri State, and Toledo. His high school once featured current Nebraska assistant head coach Jamar Mozee, adding a personal connection to the staff’s developmental approach. Lindsay projects as a developmental big-bodied receiver with the frame to add strength and become a mismatch threat downfield. While his only P4 offer besides Nebraska was Iowa, Lindsay could very well turn out to be a diamond in the rough. Nebraska won’t waste its time just to get one over Iowa; there is too much at stake for that. Lindsay has the frame and height to be a legitimate threat in the B1G, but he is still a very raw talent and will need some time to develop before he sees major playing time.
Caleb Green: Physical Linebacker Flips from Missouri
Caleb Green, a 6-1, 215-pound inside linebacker from Lee’s Summit North High School in the Kansas City area, flipped his commitment from Missouri to Nebraska on June 14, 2026. The three-star prospect adds much-needed physicality and downhill explosiveness to the front seven.
In his junior season, Green posted a dominant stat line of 145 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He had been committed to Missouri since late April before Nebraska secured the flip following an official visit, leveraging strong regional recruiting connections through assistant head coach Jamar Mozee.
Green is viewed as an under-the-radar prospect with the traits and motor to develop into a reliable contributor in Nebraska’s linebacker room.
Jailen Hill: Ball-Hawking Four-Star Cornerback from California
Jailen Hill, a 6-foot-3, 160-pound cornerback from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, committed to Nebraska on June 16, 2026. The four-star prospect chose the Huskers over Washington and more than 25 other offers.
Hill showcased elite ball production as a junior with 11 tackles, six interceptions, and three pass breakups. In prior seasons at Inglewood, he added 57 tackles and three interceptions as a sophomore, plus 60 tackles, 18 pass breakups, and one interception as a freshman. A multi-sport athlete who competes in track, Hill brings impressive length (6’7” wingspan), athleticism, and the ability to match up with bigger receivers. Scouts praise his on-ball skills, route disruption, and versatility, projecting him as a potential multi-year contributor who can play both corner and safety roles.
I had the pleasure of watching Hill compete during the second annual Battle of the Boneyard, and I think he will make a push for a 5th star. While he might be on the smaller side in terms of his weight, his length and pure athleticism are next level. Hill had no problem shutting down entire sides of the field in 7v7 play. It seemed that during every game, Hill made some insane play. From the first game all the way to the championship match, where he had the game-sealing INT, Hill was a major issue for every offense. The cherry on top was seeing him throw the bones after most of his big plays as well. If Nebraska can hold on to Hill, I think he will be an All-B1G player in the future.
Together, Lindsay, Green, and Hill represent a well-rounded haul. Nebraska’s 2027 class has climbed into the top 20 nationally in some rankings, with these additions providing both immediate high-ceiling talent and developmental upside. As the Huskers continue building under Rhule, these commitments signal continued progress in identifying and securing prospects who fit the program’s vision for sustained competitiveness in the Big Ten.
