Nebraska has landed a monster of a commit in 4-star offensive tackle Claude Mpouma. The Chicago, Illinois prospect chose Nebraska over Ohio State, Michigan, Auburn, and Florida. Claude comes in at 6’8” and 308 pounds with an overall composite grade of 0.9297, and when you look closer at his film, it’s apparent why his grade is where it is.

Claude Mpouma is a monster in more than one sense of the word. He has the size of an NFL lineman and the ceiling to match. Claude only started to play football in 2024 and has already reached a high level of play. Currently, Mpouma is among the best trucks on any dealership lot, and in a few years, he can become a monster truck. He is very light on his feet and has good fire-off abilities thanks to years of playing soccer and basketball as a kid. Currently, he is a true pass-blocking left tackle but possesses the athletic ability and strength to become a mauler in the run game. With how high of a ceiling Mpouma has, he might turn out to be among the best offensive linemen in recent years.
