Tonight I’ll be joined by Indiana guy L.C. Norton, who currently writes about Indiana for the SB Nation site Crimson Quarry. He writes about Big Ten Men’s Basketball for BT Powerhouse, and he’s previously written for the Oregonian and the Indiana Daily Student.

He graduated from Indiana University in 2022. He is YOUNG and therefore I don’t expect him to be jaded about Indiana Hoosiers football, which means this will be a lot of fun!

We will be discussing what sort of sorcery has happened that has allowed Indiana to suddenly become good at football.

I know the popular refrain is that Indiana hasn’t played nobody, but if you look at Nebraska’s schedule, it’s no murderer’s row either.

This game seems to be a perfect collision of two teams that really want to prove themselves and that their record is justified. You have Indiana coming in undefeated and Nebraska on the edge of being ranked with one loss to Illinois.
So what has happened with new coach Curt Cignetti that Indiana has suddenly become good at football?

What type of offense does he run?
Who are his key players?
What about his defense?
Has he taken focus away from Indiana basketball?
Are people attending the games?

Those are the questions we’ll be asking tonight, and we’re going to have a lot of fun doing so.
