With every starter returning, the Nebraska Volleyball squad kicks off its season tonight Saturday, Aug 24th. Coming off a Big 10 championship and an appearance in the National Championship game against the University of Texas, Nebraska looks to showcase their talent before their first opponent in Louisville vs Kentucky.
Last year was full of big moments and even bigger winning streaks. The accomplishments this team gained with such a young team are not to be overlooked. Bringing back 86.5 percent of their kills, 99.7 percent of their assists and 100 percent of their service aces Nebraska will be a force on the court this year.
Want to watch the game? The game will be televised on Nebraska public media and streamed online with B1G+. It will also be broadcasting via both AM and FM stations on Lincoln’s 107.3 and Omahas AM 590.
To attend the game, make sure to arrive early. With a 6pm start time, the fans can show up for fan day at 9am Saturday where the coaches and players will meet and interact with fans as well as sign autographs until 11am at the Devaney sports center.
