Jeff Duda is a CEO in the music industry and a lifelong Husker fan. Playing football for a majority of the first half of his life. From college football to Arena Football as well as being invited to NFL and CFL tryouts, he has thoroughly immersed himself in the college football community. With a passion for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and a love for the non-stop modern college football landscape, he hopes to take you on this journey with him through ups and downs that come with being a Husker fan.

In week two the Huskers will be looking for revenge as the Deion Sanders led Colorado Buffaloes come to town. Last year’s mistake riddled game ended up with a 36-14 Colorado win. The game in totality seemed more than just a let down, but a precursor to what Husker fans would come to expect for the totality of the 2023 season. It was one of those games that the hype leading into had every fan on the edge of their seat. Especially after the Buffalos victory over a TCU team that had just been in the playoffs the previous year.…

With Nebraska’s addition of Four Star defensive lineman Malcolm Simpson over the weekend, the Huskers jumped nine spots in the overall recruiting rankings. This Galveston, TX product is exactly what Rhule is looking for in his recruits. A raw, young talent with a very high ceiling. This 6’3” 255 pound defensive lineman out of Texas could wind up being an impact player for the University of Nebraska in the coming years. A Ball highschool assistant coach was quoted while raving about ball “ he’s an excellent player, prospect and even a better person” attributing to Rhules mentality of recruiting individuals…

Per sources, the Huskers are set to land two huge commitments from two of the nation’s top prospects in the class of 2025 over the next month continuing Rhule and companies dominance in this recruiting cycle. Already landing the blue chip standout running back in Jamarion Parker, and in-state linebacker Pierce Mooberry (possibly the coolest name on the roster) just this past week, Nebraska rolls on. But Rhule’s diamond in the rough mentality shines through on this little known German prospect. Not a lot of Husker nation knows of David Hoffken, the 6’7 German talent that received an offer and…

The Huskers are making a big impression with even bigger recruits. Guys like the Number 2 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class and number 1 offensive tackle, five star David Sanders Jr. have nothing but great things to say about Nebraska. With June through mid-July expected to heat up in the recruiting world Nebraska is trending upwords with many four and five star recruits. Dylan Raiola has played a major role in landing talent such as California four star quarterback TJ Lateef and helping communicate with multiple other talented recruits. One of the major reasons the talented Sanders is…

Nebraska Football has an edge this year on the field. No, we did not hire Connor Stallions to steal play calling signals or Tom Brady’s ball boy to deflate the football and give Dylan Raiola an advantage. I’m talking about our most underrated position on this 2024 team, the edge rusher.  If you are a Husker fan you may remember names like Cameron Meredith, Thad Randle, Cole Pensick, Jared Crick and Baker Steinkuhler. All of these players were good in their own right, but having Ndamukong Suh definitely didn’t hurt their ability to shine. A player like Suh had the…

Over the weekend there was another big recruiting win in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was a recruiting win that left a lot of people confused. I heard an abundance of “do we need another quarterback?”. The answer is always yes, there is no shortage of need for any position in this everchanging roster age of the transfer portal. But it’s not as much about the position or even the player, even though TJ Lateef is an outstanding pick-up. It’s about a movement. Something that is happening in Lincoln that hasn’t taken place in so long that we are confused by its…

“The Pipeline” means something to Husker nation. It’s not just a saying that is thrown around, but almost a connection to a longing for days when dominance on the field was prominent and lead by the big uglies up front. Men that without a doubt in your mind would get the job done. Men that would punish the defensive line until the point where they would give out in the fourth quarter. There is nothing more physically and emotionally draining than being a D-lineman and having a team run the ball straight down your throat for an entire game knowing…

This offseason offered up a ton of questions, and Saturday’s spring game hosted just as many answers. The only inquiry left is on the defensive side of the ball. The Huskers sat out multiple starters on defense to keep them healthy and prevent injury. Even with multiple key players sitting out the defense still looked above average, and when those key pieces are turned loose this defense could look fantastic. With the injury to Blye Hill’s knee we are left with a spot in the defensive backfield since Blye was projected to be a starter. With plenty of young talent…

The transfer portal is looked at by Huskers Head Coach Matt Rhule as more of a tool for opportunity rather than a tool of key significance. Rhule has received plenty of heat for not going all in on the transfer portal, but stands strong in his conviction. The Huskers are wanting to build a family, and a group that trusts each other. A group that when down in the fourth quarter, when talent is equal and when the players are exhausted they will want to truly fight for the man next to them. This cannot be achieved with one and…

All Big Ten are words that havent been spoken much in Lincoln over the last decade. And in a new look Big Ten where if you receive all conference honors you will most likely be receiving All American votes, do the Cornhuskers have anyone on the watchlist? From receivers to linebackers there is a very good possibility Nebraska lands at least one player on that list. Starting out on offense, the Wake Forest transfer and current standout in spring camp Jahmal Banks is someone who Nebraska’s quarterback room could lean on heavily as a safety blanket. Standing at 6 ‘4…
