The Huskers are making a big impression with even bigger recruits. Guys like the Number 2 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class and number 1 offensive tackle, five star David Sanders Jr. have nothing but great things to say about Nebraska. With June through mid-July expected to heat up in the recruiting world Nebraska is trending upwords with many four and five star recruits.

Dylan Raiola has played a major role in landing talent such as California four star quarterback TJ Lateef and helping communicate with multiple other talented recruits. One of the major reasons the talented Sanders is looking at Nebraska is due to his close relationship he developed during Raiolas’ time committed to Georgia. With all of these possible four and five star recruits Nebraska is after, we are expecting to land 7-8 of these highly sought after individuals to boost the Huskers best recruiting class in over a decade.

Jamarion Parker is a four star running back from Saint Louis, MO. A standout running back who is used to getting the handoff from a quarterback in shotgun and reading defenses already will have a jump when it comes to not only his skill set but his vision. Nebraska has a deep running back room, but no one that has taken the reins as a standout, and leaves room for Parker to make an impact. Parker is heavily leaning towards the Huskers and I expect him to make his announcement soon.

When speaking about commitments that you expect to officially become Huskers soon it is hard not to mention Michael Terry. The five star prospect out of Texas. Listed as an athlete officially, Terry is expected to play receiver at Nebraska. The Cornhuskers already have a deep receiver room, but having such a highly talented positionless player to fit into Rhule’s offense will be huge.

Being in the Big 10 the offensive and defensive lines are the most important positions. If you look at schools like Iowa and Wisconsin, they were able to stay consistently at the top of the west for so many years leaning on the play of their lines. Rhule understands that and is going after players to achieve players that will win the trench warfare. David Sanders Jr. is one that Nebraska is battling the likes of Georgia, Clemson and Ohio State for. Sanders is a consensus five star offensive lineman. The number one offensive tackle in the country and the number two overall player in the country. A player that is considered a higher ranked recruit than Dylan Raiola in some recruiting circles. Sanders is still a lean to Georgia but I would not be surprised to see Nebraska in a neck and neck race as it comes down to the wire.

Dawson Merritt, SJ Alofaituli and Brian Tapu are all four, five and three star recruits respectively. Merritt is an impact player at edge. Someone who can get to the quarterback in a hurry and could make an immediate impact at Nebraska. SJ Alofaituli is a five star center out of the famed Bishop Gorman high school and also could compete immediately at Nebraska. Brian Tapu is only a three star offensive tackle but with his frame and footwork has the ability to become one of the best offensive tackles the Huskers have seen in quite some time.

As the summer is heating up recruiting for the Cornhuskers is doing the same. Stay tuned right here to the Carriker Chronicles for all of your Husker needs.
